Aloha BFIS commuinty,
This being my first year at BFIS i just wanted to give you a little bit of background infomation about myself. I¥m from Council Bluffs, Iowa. I attended Iowa St. University where i recieved my BS in Exercise Science and a minor in Health Studies. After graduation i worked as a perosonal trainer and aerobics instructor for a couple years. I decided to take a sabbatical for a while and joined the Peace Corps. I served 2 amazing years in Jamaica, working with at risk youth. I worked for the Jamaica Basketball Association and taught PE around the island. This exerience pushed me into the education feild. I decided to pursue my Master¥s degree in teaching at the University of Hawaii (K-6). There i was a classroom teacher for grades K, 3rd, and 5th. I¥m very excited about having the opportunity to come to Spain and teach PE at BFIS. I look forward to becoming and active member of both the school and city communities. Yours in Health,
