New Silver Corporate Sponsor - Barcelona Management Institute
Please join us in welcoming the Barcelona Management Institute (BMI) which has recently joined the American Society as a Corporate Sponsor.
The MBA program at BMI was founded and developed by Top MBAs and Top Business School Professors. Its goals are to develop leaders, to promote business education opportunities, and to foster business education exchange in Barcelona. In addition, BMI regularly brings top speakers to Barcelona to share their insights with the local business community. On July 17 at 7pm, they are organizing a free networking cocktail with Brian McCary, Executive Director of Bausch & Lomb who will give a speech entitled "Simplifying Tough Decisions." Brian will use examples drawn from some of the good (and bad) decisions he's made over the years at Bausch & Lomb to illustrate some of the traps of decision making, and some practical approaches he's used for avoiding these traps. Event takes place at 7pm at Lemon Twist on Calle Paris 186. RSVP required, please contact +34 93 451 37 23 or email pr@barcelonami.org. Needed Soon! ASB Public Relations Liaison
Know of anyone well versed in public relations? The ASB is increasing its visibility on radio and TV broadcasts, and we are looking for an articulate and motivated person with fluency in Spanish, English and Catalan (a huge plus!) to support the Board in crafting our image, writing press releases and taking the organization to the next step. The ideal candidate would be familiar with organizational development initiatives and comfortable with interfacing with corporate sponsors, politicians, members of the media, etc. If you are interested or know someone who might be...PLEASE let us know. Don't be shy...contact us at admin@amersoc.com
For the avoidance of doubt, we are looking for VOLUNTEERS. Thanks! American Society of Barcelona on Facebook
