Dear David,
This is your home page to describe your class.
There will be a calendar to view important dates such as holidays and school events.
There will be a photo gallery where you will be able to post "albums"
of pictures, but if you want to upload a few pictures here, it is easy
to do (instructions will be provided).
Your page should include:
- a description of the course or an overview of the grade
- major themes or units of study or important activities, skills taught
- important assessments related to this subject /
course
- any standard-based projects associated with the
subject / course
It might include:
- anything you think distinguishes this subject /
course from others
- related activities, field trips, etc
Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions,
Kili

As an AP Studio Art teacher, my initial goal is to incite students to take ownership of their role in the course and to enable them to be responsible for themselves as individuals in the Studio Art experience. I consider my role as teacher, to guide and provide them with the essential tools and critical reflective dialogue necessary, in order to promote their capacity to think for themselves, as they initiate and produce artwork through the creative process. As a result, the course enables students to develop mastery in concept, composition and execution of 2D design.

Middle School and High School
Grades 6 through 12 have PE lessons at the St Ignasi School's facilities. As the PE teacher I coordinate and supervise the sessions. Students are separated into small groups and have a teacher assigned. Individual sports like track and field and Team sports like soccer, basketball, field hockey, volleyball, along with fitness, physical conditionning and specific motor skills are the main contents of the course.
Middle School meets once a week on Tuesday and High School students meet every Thursday. Middle School and High School have PE during periods 3 and 4.
Because of all the benefits we can get from physical activity and sports, I would like to encourage every student, parent, teacher and any member of this community to practice regular physical activity and include it in their lifestyles.
Just a reminder for all students, please make sure to bring your sports clothes with you.
