The school strives to maintain a diverse student body with a balance of 1/3 American, 1/3 Spanish/Catalan, and 1/3 other international students in each Grade level. Benjamin Franklin International School is a community and family school which hosts about 400 students annually. The student body reveals true international diversity; students enrolled come from approximately 40 different countries. On average international students stay at BFIS four years, while about 50% of the student body is enrolled at BFIS from Nursery to Grade 12 .
BFIS has ongoing admissions ; students may enroll at any given time during the school year. The teachers, students and administration ensure that students enjoy an easy transition and adaptation into their classrooms.
