Our international faculty is comprised of certified, highly qualified and experienced teachers who bring with them a passion for teaching and facilitating a learning environment that ensures our graduates become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

The selection of teachers is given the highest priority. We seek teachers with a minimum three years experience who are certified in their instructional area. Our administrators look for dedicated professionals who genuinely care about the well being of all students in the school. Of the total faculty 40% to 45% is recruited from the United States on contracts and the other 60% to 55% is divided between host national and U.S. citizens residing permanently in Barcelona.

All of our classroom teachers with the exception of our Spanish, Catalan and French teachers are native English speakers. Continuous professional development ensures theintegration of educational best-practice in the curriculum. On an annual basis, 70% of our instructors possess a Masters degree.
