The Benjamin Franklin International School is governed by a ten member Foundation Board. The BFIS Foundation Statutes and By-Laws require that the President plus six out of the ten members be United States citizens. The Board was established in 1986, and membership is self-perpetuating, subject to specific term limits. The Board has the vision of making Benjamin Franklin International School one of the best small international schools in the world.
