The High School Student Council represents the student body of the High School and offers students the opportunity to participate in a student government which will help develop responsibility, initiative, and leadership skills.

Beyond its government role, the Council promotes school spirit and pride through collaborating with the Booster Club to organize school wide events such as the Halloween Fun Fair and sponsoring activities such as Spirit Week. The Council enriches the social life of the school by organizing events like Prom.

Fundraising is an important aspect of Student Council, as they help subsidize Prom, and other small activities throughout the year.

For the past two years, the Council with assistance from the Booster Club, has collected food boxes at Christmastime to donate to a local center supporting poor children and their families.
