Like the National Honor Society, the National Junior Honor Society celebrates middle school students who exemplify the four pillars of scholarship, service, leadership and character. Students in NJHS service the BFIS community by offering babysitting services during school functions, participating in Campus Clean-Up operations, and assisting with new student orientation. Moreover, following the induction of new members in the Spring semester, the National Junior Honor Society organizes a writing contest for the Elementary School, from the inception of the writing prompts, through the reading of the material and recognition of winners. The NJHS looks to expand its' service in the local Barcelona community in the years to come. New members are always encouraged to apply for membership to this prestigious organization!
