Dear BFIS Family,
With the second semester
underway and spring beginning to emerge, the energy and enthusiasm at BFIS is
infectious. I take great pride in the excellent work our students and teachers
are accomplishing. Every day I see evidence of the intellectual curiosity,
creativity and open mindedness that we are striving for. I have learned much
over these last months as school Director and feel privileged to support your
children in every way I can.
The reason I am writing to you
today is to ask for your support with
a very important initiative: the school's first ever annual giving campaign. We are reaching out to all members of the
school community, including current families, alumni and school faculty for
their participation in this very important fundraising effort. With your help,
we plan to raise at least 50,000€ this year.
While BFIS is in sound
financial health, thanks to ongoing strong enrollment, our new tuition rates,
and continued close financial management, this Annual Fund is to provide supplemental resources for special
programs and facilities which are not included in the school's ordinary operating
budget. This fundraising will allow us to greatly improve our Art and Music departments and launch
the New Century Learning program which
will integrate state-of-the-art technologies into the BFIS curriculum. These projects were chosen to enrich
the educational experience of every BFIS student.
Please make a donation
today to make these projects a reality.
The enclosed information will explain more about these exciting initiatives and
how you can lend your support. Additional information is available on the BFIS
website: www.bfischool.org. We are hoping that every one of our families
will participate. No gift is too small, and every
gift is important.
On behalf of the students and
teachers who will be the direct beneficiaries of your generosity, I thank you
in advance for your thoughtful participation in this effort and look forward to
working with you in giving your children an outstanding international
education.
Yours most sincerely,
Dr. David Penberg
Director
