BFIS, through Maddock Sports, will have its own soccer teams and participate in the Consell de l’Esport Escolar de Barcelona (Barcelona School Sports league) beginning in the Fall of 2008.
In order to plan for the season 2008-2009, BFIS needs to know how many students would be interested in playing soccer for our school.
General Information:
• BFIS soccer teams will be open to students 6 yrs. (1st grade) to 16 yrs.
• Practice will be two days a week from 16:15 – 17:30 hrs (Mon/Wed or Tu/Th depending on the number of participants and age groups). Games will be on Friday afternoons and occasionally Saturday mornings.
• Practice will be held at the Maddock Sports facility: c/ Rafael Batllé, 21.
• Participation Fee: 550 Euros for the entire season including sports clothing (training shirt, two pairs of shorts, two pairs of socks, 2 piece sweat suit and sport bag). Starting June 1st, 2008, payment can be made to Maddock Sports: c/Rafael Batllé, 26. Office hours Monday-Friday 10-14:00 hrs and 16-20:00 hrs.
• Soccer classes will be in Spanish.
