Yes. BFIS has long believed that one of its core strengths is its mix of American families, Spanish/Catalan families, and families from the rest of the world. While from time to time there may be a slight imbalance in these numbers due to external factors, our goal is to maintain this ratio throughout the school by incorporating this balance at each grade level. The same philosophy applies to school events and parties, such as Thanksgiving, International Food Fair, and Sant Jordi Day. In certain years there may be a shift in activities due to the school calendar, but the administration and Booster Club are committed to celebrating the diversity which makes our school strong. Our desire is that BFIS remains a welcome environment for families and students from all over the world, and our policies strive to support that goal.
