IB MYP Physical Health Education Teacher (Temporary Cover)
MYP Physical and Health Education courses, in combination with MYP sciences, help specifically to prepare students for the study of sports, exercise, and health science in academic further studies. At BFIS, we take pride in offering a complete PHE program in the MYP, practicing many different sports, and offering health lessons in nutrition, physiology, first aid, fitness, and much more. Rigorous PHE courses enable students to inquire into the systems of the human body and explore how and why these systems work together. In their study, students learn how to apply their knowledge and understanding by critically analyzing human performance and through planning and conducting investigations. We offer a fun and active learning environment where students are free and encouraged to do their own research through inquiry and curiosity.
