Swimming (Grades K-5)
Semester bus fee: 30€ |
Elementary Soccer Teams (Grades K-5) Off campus: Kinobs Semester Fees: BFIS partners with Kinobs for the Elementary Soccer Program. Students train at a soccer field nearby (walking distance from BFIS) and are grouped by age. Monitors pick up students from school and take them to practice for their training with coaches. Parents pick up at the soccer field. |

Fencing (Grades 3-5) Students develop agility, balance, and coordination while learning the strategy of fencing with wonderful instructors from SAM Esgrima Barcelona. Students may also be invited to participate in competitions. Personal equipment is not required but can be purchased for an additional cost through SAM or other providers. This is an outdoor activity. |

Spanish Club (K-2) Spanish Club (3-5) Students will gain fluency in speaking Spanish by playing games and learning vocabulary in fun ways. This is not related to the SAL program but can help students in SAL.

Catalan Club (K-5)
Students will learn phrases and vocabulary in Catalan and will focus on oral communication by playing games. This course is designed for international students. Students will be divided by level and age.

Chess Club (Grades 3-5) Students will be introduced to chess and game strategies with chess boards, card games and computer games. Instructors will adapt the content to age and level. Open to beginners and mixed levels of chess players. Opportunities to compete in the Spring Chess Tournament. |

ES Musical (Grades 3-5): The Little MermaidWednesdays 3:00 - 4:30 pm Performances will take place in January. Second semester, another musical will be selected and auditions will be open to everyone.

Concertante Music Academy Guitar: Mondays (Neter), Tuesdays (Miquel), Wednesdays (Neter), Thursdays Individual and group instrument lessons range from 30 minutes to one hour and schedules will be set on a case-by-case basis keeping in mind the schedules of music teachers, the ages of the students, and family preferences. Students perform in a school recital in June. Families can observe classes to see if they are interested. To request lessons, fill out the registration form and return by email to beaz@bfischool.org. Minimum trial period of 3 months |
