Congratulations are in order for the exceptional BFIS Middle School robotics team for their outstanding performance at the 2024 FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge event held in Montcada, Barcelona, this past weekend! This event saw the convergence of budding robotic enthusiasts from various schools in Barcelona, and the BFIS team showcased remarkable talent and dedication throughout the competition.
Comprising twelve talented BFIS students divided into two teams, these young innovators demonstrated their prowess in robotics as they engaged in intense competitions with their counterparts. Their participation was not only marked by technical skill but also by their ability to articulate their ideas and innovations during the judges’ interviews.
A special commendation is due to the mixed team of 6th and 8th graders, whose stellar performance culminated in a remarkable achievement. With an impressive score of 170 points in their final match, they secured the 7th position in the standings, a testament to their hard work and teamwork.
Beyond their achievements in the competition, the BFIS robotics teams exemplified the values of perseverance, collaboration, and innovation. Their journey this year reflects not only their dedication to robotics but also their growth as individuals and as a team.
