In May 2024, more than 192,000 students took the IB DP and CP exams all over the world and received their results in July 2024.
At BFIS, we are proud to celebrate twelve years of IBDP graduates, encompassing 59 diploma candidates and two course candidates in 2024. As an inclusive school, we take immense pride in the fact that 97% of our 11th and 12th-grade students embraced the rigorous challenges of the full IB Diploma Program. We are an inclusive school that does not select student’s routes. We are committed to supporting and empowering our students to follow their passions and ambitions, never underestimating or steering them away from the paths they have chosen.
We are nothing but extremely proud of our Class of 2024 and their outstanding IBDP results, which have significantly exceeded global averages. These results confirm our commitment to the BFIS philosophy. 88% of our students were awarded the IB Diploma (worldwide average is 80%). BFIS’s average score was 35 points, five points above the worldwide average. BFIS’s highest score was 44 points, 21% of our students scored 40 points or more, and 50% were awarded the bilingual diploma.
BFIS students from the Class of 2024 have also achieved remarkable success in gaining admissions to prestigious colleges and universities worldwide. Among the notable institutions where they have secured places are the University of Cambridge, London School of Economics, University of St. Andrews, University of Bath, King’s College, London, University of Hong Kong, Columbia University, Northeastern, Northwestern, ESADE, Instituto de Empresa, and numerous others.

At our school, we understand that numbers alone don’t capture the full story behind each student. Behind every test score or grade, whether high or low, lies a personal journey filled with dreams and struggles, achievements and setbacks. These numbers don’t define our students; rather, they are a snapshot of moments in time within a much larger narrative. We see beyond the data; we see beautiful human beings who are each on their unique path of development. Our commitment to them goes beyond a score on a given time—we believe in their potential to achieve their dreams and are dedicated to nurturing their growth, now and ever.
As educators, whether we have known our students for many years or just a few, our mission remains the same: to support and guide them. We stand by our students not just as teachers, but as mentors and allies for as long as they want us to be. We are here to cheer them on during their triumphs and to lift them up during their challenges. Our doors are always open, and our belief in their abilities is unwavering. We are, and will always be, here for them, committed to their success and personal growth every step of the way.
