Seeking new horizons, Joanna ventured beyond borders to Dubai, where she took on the role of a Year 5/6 teacher. Her time in the bustling city saw her commitment to making learning enjoyable and meaningful, both inside and outside the traditional classroom setting. Fueled by a desire to take her teaching beyond conventional boundaries, Joanna embarked on a transformative journey. She underwent a slight career shift, dedicating a year to becoming a certified outdoor instructor back in the UK. This pivotal period involved rigorous training and the acquisition of qualifications in Paddlesports, Archery, and an immersive exploration of bushcraft skills.
