A Vibrant Community
One of the distinctive traits of BFIS is the importance we place on our community and the deep care shared among its members. As a middle-sized school, we foster personal interaction, inviting strong support from parents and community members, and building closer relationships.
To live our mission, we need our entire school community—parents, students, teachers, and staff—to work together towards common goals. At BFIS, this engagement is palpable. We offer numerous opportunities for parents to get involved and have a voice, valuing the rich diversity of perspectives within our community. We are proud that BFIS is more than just buildings and classrooms; it's truly a community of families united in supporting all our students.

New Families
BFIS provides an intentionally designed and comprehensive Welcome Program. The BFIS PTA supports new students and families and helping them integrate into the school community by organizing different events and programs available to them:

Parent and Teacher Association
The BFIS Parent and Teacher Association, PTA, is an organization run mostly by parents, with generous inputs and assistance from the school’s leadership, faculty, and students. The PTA vision is to create an interconnected community that fosters joy, excellence, life-long learning, service, and spirit community at BFIS. The PTA’s goals are:
