BFIS is joining the Litterless Campaign launched by Eco-schools, with more than 1478 schools in 35 countries worldwide participating in this eco-school initiative. The BFIS Going Green Committee agreed that this campaign will be dedicated to reducing single-use plastics as an effort to improve our environmental footprint on the planet and everyday life.
Last month, China, one of the world's biggest users of plastic, unveiled a major plan to reduce single-use plastics across the country. By the end of 2020, non-degradable bags will be banned in major cities. This is great news! A first step we can all take is to stop using non-degradable bags and always carry with us a reusable one. Our planet needs us!
