Leadership opportunities
Leadership experience and abilities are qualifications that many colleges seek in an ideal applicant. By providing leadership opportunities to students, we are not only preparing them to get into college but also help them to develop commitment and team work skills, strengthen their self-esteem and encourage them to become active citizens in their communities.
In all my years at BFIS, the school never failed to amaze me about all the opportunities I was offered to improve my leadership and teamwork skills. In the classroom, we were given the right amount of group activities and solo options. I was always encouraged to go that extra mile to stretch my limits and develop my skills even further. As the middle school student council president, I was given the opportunity to deal with large groups of people. It strengthened my character, my resilience, and my commitment while giving back to my community. BFIS helped me to undertake that task and I am really looking forward to this year and excited to see how much better I can become.

BFIS has helped me to become not only a better student, but also a better person. At BFIS, I learned how to enrich my own perspective by listening and understanding others' points of view. I was provided with opportunities to develop my leadership and teamwork skills by working in many different groups where mutual respect and understanding was crucial for success. At BFIS, I am always encouraged to give my personal best and persevere when faced with challenges
