Volunteer Parents
Any time during the school year
Many opportunities available

Parent volunteers offer a huge resource and support base for the school community while showing their kids the importance of participating in the larger community. Not only will the school reap the benefits of parent involvement — parents will, too. By interacting with teachers, administrators, and other parents on a regular basis, they will gain a firsthand understanding of students's daily activities.

Athletics at BFIS

Sport offers opportunities to cultivate communication and leadership skills, to work as part of a team, and to develop resilience by learning to meet success and failure head-on. Sports are a great lesson in time management and promote a healthy lifestyle.

At BFIS all students are encouraged to participate in and enjoy themselves across a wide range of sports and team sports. There are both, competitive inter-school sports leagues at a local level and also inter-schools sports competitions within international schools in and outside Spain. Encouraging students to participate in sports and team sports, irrespective of age, ability, or experience is one of our main goals. Despite de fact that BFIS is an urban school and the physical space limitations in Barcelona,  the school offers  many sports opportunities for our students.  Our students compete not only with local school but also  with other BISA (Barcelona International Schools  Associtation) schools and international schools in Spain.
