IB Learner Profile
The IB learner profile provides a long-term vision of education. It is a set of ideals that can inspire, motivate and focus the work of schools and teachers, uniting them in a common purpose. Read more about the IB Learner Profile here.
IBDP candidates are required to select subjects from six different subject groups:
- Group 1: Studies in language and literature (Language A)
- Group 2: Language acquisition (Language B)
- Group 3: Individuals and societies
- Group 4: Sciences
- Group 5: Mathematics
- Group 6: The arts

IBDP Results: Timeline and Process
Coordinators must inform candidates that the IB will not issue results to or discuss results with candidates, their legal guardian(s) or representative(s). The Diploma Programme coordinator is the intermediary for any communication with the IB. Results are not issued to coordinators or any other person by telephone.
